MYMF2015: networking event for Finland Math junior researchers

Wondering what to do after your PhD, or even during it?! Would you like to meet fellow junior researchers to share pains and tales? Or do you just want an official-looking excuse to procrastinate?

MYMFfinal

You are warmly invited to take part in the Meeting for Young Mathematicians in Finland (MYMF).  This networking event, organised by postgraduate students from Aalto University and University of Helsinki, takes place on 26th-28th August 2015 at Aalto University's Otaniemi campus and we welcome all doctoral students of mathematics in Finland. Masters level students close to graduation and recent post-docs are also very welcome.

You will have the opportunity to meet other young mathematicians in a relaxed setting and gain an insight into the different research groups working throughout Finland. As well as talks given by doctoral students, there will be keynote speakers from both academia and industry (Supercell, GE Healthcare, and Ilmarinen) to illustrate the various career options open to you.

There will be a special focus on the gender gap in Mathematics.

At MYMF 2015 you will find:
